Wills & Legacies

By leaving a gift in your Will to Australian Heart Research, you’ll support our mission to improve treatment and stop heart disease from taking the people we love. Ensure your legacy lives on and makes a profound impact for generations to come.

WILLS AND LEGACIES

Every day, thousands of Australians are fighting heart disease.

You can give hope!

After you’ve taken care of your loved ones, you may wish to leave a gift in your Will to Australian Heart Research. A gift of as little as 1% of your estate can make a big difference to heart research and patient care in hospitals. For many of our supporters, leaving a gift in their Will is an opportunity to give a significant contribution to a cause they are passionate about, leaving a legacy that lasts beyond their lifetime.

Leave a living legacy

Providing a gift while you are still alive is another meaningful way to make a difference to Australian Heart Research and patient care. For some people, they choose to do this by making a donation in honour of a loved one who sadly lost their heart disease battle, or by leaving a Living Legacy.

Leaving a Living Legacy means you can see first-hand the heart research advances you are helping to make possible.

If you choose to leave a Living Legacy, we will connect you with cardiologists and researchers advancing lifesaving heart research and patient care right now. Your gift will help them overcome some of the toughest challenges facing heart disease battlers and survivors, and their families in the future.

By making your gift in this way, there may also be a tax benefit for you. It is important to discuss this with your financial advisor or accountant.
